Announcing CASSY Impact Report 2026

It’s been a year of responsiveness and resilience.

In 2025–2026, CASSY provided a mental health safety net to nearly 20,000 students across 35 campuses throughout Santa Clara and San Mateo counties, stretching from Gilroy to Redwood City. In the midst of transition, we maintained strong clinical services while responding to the evolving needs of students, families, schools, and districts.

We launched a new partnership with St. Mary School in Los Gatos and expanded services within the Campbell Union High School District. Amid heightened stress for many families in immigrant communities, we increased bilingual services for Spanish-speaking students and families and equipped our therapists with additional training to support those experiencing trauma, separation, grief, and loss.

We also approached change with an eye toward the future—working with school partners to develop more sustainable pathways for funding school-based mental health services and engaging in thoughtful strategic planning to position CASSY for continued impact.

As CASSY prepares to welcome a new full-time Executive Director, we remain deeply committed to our mission: ensuring young people have the support they need to overcome challenges and reach their full potential—in the classroom and in life. At a time when anxiety continues to top the list of student concerns, culturally and linguistically responsive mental health services remain vital to creating a more inclusive future where every student has the opportunity to thrive.
