Want a friendlier February? Research shows that friends are good for our mental and physical health. Even better news? If you’re short on friends, there are ways to make one.

The folks at Action for Happiness invite us to band together this month, taking action to boost our relationships and be a better friend to others. They’ve put together a calendar of suggestions – small daily things to try – so make the most of our friendships.

Action for Happiness is a “movement of people taking action to create a happier and kinder world, together.” A non-religious, non-sectarian organization, it helps people “learn evidence-based skills for happier living, feel a sense of belonging and commit to personal action to create more happiness, for ourselves and others.”
