Try Something New This November

Studies have shown that trying new things is good for your mental health and emotional well-being as well as your cognitive sharpness.

The folks at Action for Happiness would like to encourage us to try new things this November. They’ve put together a calendar of suggestions – brain-boosting newness to expand our concept of what’s possible and help us feel better.

Action for Happiness is a “movement of people taking action to create a happier and kinder world, together.” A non-religious, non-sectarian organization, it helps people “learn evidence-based skills for happier living, feel a sense of belonging and commit to personal action to create more happiness, for ourselves and others.”
